Frederiksdal Sinatur Hotel & Conference guests can now enjoy party and meeting rooms with acoustic panels from I-Wood Denmark®.

Wooden panels were used for walls and ceilings, giving the room optimum reverberation time together with a modern, stylish and
harmonious expression. The aesthetics are inspired by the classic Nordic design tradition, in which natural materials and clean lines play a key role.

Nordic calm and natural acoustics by the Mølleå stream

Between river, forest and lake, Frederiksdal Sinatur Hotel & Conference welcomes its guests in surroundings where nature is always close. In collaboration with I-Wood Denmark®, nature has now also moved indoors. With acoustic panels as a recurring design element, Nordic calm flows through the rooms – in harmony with the Mølleå stream just outside the windows.

Force Technology-tested acoustics in a 202 m² restaurant

The collaboration with Frederiksdal Sinatur began in the hotel’s large 202 m² restaurant with panoramic windows and views of the stream. The challenge was to preserve the open view and natural light – without compromising on acoustics.

The solution was acoustic panels from I-Wood Denmark®. The panels not only reduce noise levels but also have a diffuser effect that disperses sound waves evenly throughout the room, creating a pleasant acoustic experience. The acoustic properties of the panels have been tested in collaboration with Force Technology.

1,500 m² of acoustic panels throughout the entire hotel

For Hotel Manager Mark Garde, interior design is about much more than aesthetics – the great experience should apply to every guest, every time.

The project quickly evolved to include almost the entire hotel. Today, the acoustic panels create a cohesive look across the restaurant, coffee stations, wardrobes, and hotel rooms – where they are used as headboards, nightstands, and desks. The combination of aesthetics, function, and quality results in an experience that feels calm, warm, and welcoming.

Sustainability as a shared value

At Frederiksdal Sinatur, nature is both the setting and the foundation for every decision – including choices related to materials and operations. I-Wood Denmark® shares the same responsible approach.

All products are FSC® certified, ensuring that the wood comes from sustainably managed forests and other responsible sources. In addition, an EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) documents the total environmental impact throughout the entire production process – from raw materials to finished product.
